Accident Insurance

The Lloydminster Catholic School Division carries student blanket insurance for students while they are at school or at school activities.  If there is an accident, the insurance claim has to be submitted through the parent’s insurance plan first if they have a plan.  The school division’s insurance plan offers supplementary coverage.  It is strongly encouraged for the parent(s) to file a claim under the school division plan even if the family has personal coverage, as coverage may have dollar limits and time limitations. 

AIG Accident Insurance offers protection against the unexpected costs of injury from accidents, and is especially valuable for families who:  

• do not have medical or dental plans,
• have limited plans, as it may help supplement health and dental benefits, or
• have active children who enjoy sports and outdoor activities.
