Our school division views all staff as valued members of our organization. The Board of Education provides opportunity for personnel to acquire and/or refine skills and knowledge required to successfully complete his/her job description through professional development. Approved registration fees and expenses are reimbursed accordingly through school-based professional development, support-staff professional development or Central Professional Development.
We also have supports for further post-secondary education in our LINC agreement and have supported many of our teachers in obtaining their Masters' degrees through bursaries granted by our Board of Education. We value our staff in their life-long learning pursuits and are always searching for opportunities to allow them to better serve our students' learning.
